Halls within the Parish!

There are six halls within the parish, all of which are available for hire.  They vary in size and facilities, so for more information telephone the contact number. The names and locations are:

 Beechen Hall

Beechen Hall is owned by the Parish Council and is a modern yet intimate hall built in 1994 and is ideal

   for wedding receptions, parties, clubs, training etc.  

    OUR HALL (PLUS SIDEROOM IF REQUIRED) IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE FOR WEDDING RECEPTIONS, PARTIES ETC ON A SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. PLEASE PHONE JAN OR PAULINE ON 01634 861237 FOR AVAILABILITY.  

SATURDAY        All day 09.00 – 23.30 - £298.00           Hourly basis prior to 6.00 pm -  £20.50 per hour

                                                                                                6.00 pm – 11.30                         £26.80 per hour  

SUNDAY                   All day 10.00 – 20.30 - £160.00           Hourly basis all day - £17.90  

SIDE ROOM                          £4.00 per hour on either day. Can only be hired WITH the main hall.

LOCATION                   Situated off the Walderslade Woods Road near the Boxley Road roundabout.

                                                Close to Medway Towns and in easy reach of the M2, M20 and Maidstone . 

HALL DETAILS  The hall is 20m by 10m and can accommodate:                                           The small room is 5.5m by 3.5m  

                                    200 for dancing only                                                                                              Can accommodate up to 15

                                    170 for table functions                                                                                                   persons for meetings.

                                    155 for dancing and table functions

                                    200 for close seated audience.

Various clubs and groups use the hall including a dance group, keep fit groups, karate, playgroup, Young Searchers etc. 

Facilities

Pleasant decoration, maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Versatile lighting in main hall including dimmer controls on down and spot lights.

Illuminated car parking for 60 plus cars.

Modern kitchen with 6 burner hob and oven, 9 power points and a first aid kit.

Crockery and cutlery for 50 place settings.

Tables and chairs - 16 large tables (6’ by 2’6”),15 small tables (3’ by 2’6”), and 180 chairs.

 Child size chairs and tables also available

Disabled access to hall, small room, disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.

Noise inhibitor which  works on a traffic light system, set to 94DB.

Picture rail from which decorations can be hung using blue tack.

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES

PREMISES LICENSED FOR OUTSIDE BARS.

Affilited to KSKC & EKGB and run by qualified personnel, the Club provides both juniors and adults with the opportunity to learn and practice this ancient skill.

Ballet, Tap, Freestyle,  Pre-School boogie,Street Jazz & Musical Theatre. Boys only classes available.
